    The largest state-of-the-art venue of its size in the area, the Smoothie King Center is less than a mile away from Q&C HotelBar New Orleans. Adjacent to the Mercedes-Benz Superdome and situated on a 55-acre campus of the Louisiana Stadium and Exposition District, the Smoothie King Center is home of the New Orleans Pelicans NBA team. It also plays host to some of the world’s largest musical acts and sporting events such as the NCAA Regional Tournament, the Women’s Final Four, and the 63rd NBA All-Star Game. A world-class venue, the Smoothie King Center hosts headlining concerts, NBA games, premier sporting events, as well as general sessions and private receptions. The arena was originally built in 1999 and can host about 18,000 people.
